Love Tawau, Love Our Environment

Launching the 2nd series of 100,000 Mudball Campaign in East Coast Sabah, the committee involving Municipal Council of Tawau, Rotary Club Tawau Tanjung, Junior Chamber International (Tawau) and Scents of Borneo will be holding the actual event on 2nd October 2010. Public Mudball Making Sessions will be confirmed within this week. Do look our for our postings!

1st EM Forum Asia in Penang & One Million Apologies to Mother Earth


On 7 August 2010, the inaugural EM Asia Forum 2010 was held in Penang, Malaysia at PSDC (Penang Skills Development Center).

Invited speakers shared vast experiences and information on EM™ and applications in their respective countries, including Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Latin America, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The Forum was a sell-out, with 300 international participants filling up the auditorium.






EM™ products manufactured in different countries were showcased in a separate room, where representatives were able to interact freely with the participants. All the products were manufactured using EM™ or EM™ extract, which include skincare, health beverages, cleaning agents, books and more.

On 8 August 2010, the 2nd 'One Million Apologies to Mother Earth' was once again held in Penang State. Despite the heavy downpour in the morning, the event proceeded as planned, with 1 million EM Mudballs thrown into 4 different locations in Penang, in the hope of cleaning up the rivers.

EM® SEMINAR IN THAILAND GIVES NEW DIRECTIVES ON NATURE FARMING





Delegates Rain Praises as Seminar Exceed Expectations

Sabah, Malaysia, 1 March 2010: Scents of Borneo, together with Enviro Jamof Sdn Bhd, is happy to welcome home Malaysian Delegates from Saraburi, Thailand, on 26 February 2010, and many have found new direction in organic nature farming.

The 4-day intensive exchange seminar on Effective Microorganisms (EM®), which is held at the Saraburi Kyusei Nature Farming Center, is organized by Asia Pacific Natural Agriculture Network (APNAN). The entire module consists of lectures, hands-on demonstrations, model farm and site visits.

All delegates who attended the international seminar, has nothing but respect and conviction for EM Technology® and nature farming.

The next EM® international seminar will be held in July 2010, at Saraburi Kyusei Nature Farming Center, Thailand. There will be another major event, “EM Forum Malaysia 2010” in Penang on 7 Aug 2010, followed by another One Million Mudballs Application into the waters of Malaysia. Dr Teruo Higa will be the main speaker at the Forum, together with several other speakers from Malaysia and regional countries. Mr Clarence Chiuh will be one of the selected EM® representatives from Malaysia for this Forum.
